The image of the hawk in flight was photographed in Branford CT in the backyard which abutted a pond and marsh. I have always loved and expressed tremendous gratitude for the winged relations and give thanks for all the joy and beauty that they continue to freely share with us each day throughout the seasons. Over the years I have come to realize that everything that exists in creation responds when we show love and gratitude, it is reciprocated. I cannot imagine life without the bird nation and am looking forward to sharing many more images with you.

The Barred Owl was photographed in a white pine tree which was in the neighbors front yard. The owl remained there for some time and did not appear to be disturbed or threatened by human presence.
